In just 80 days, the people of McLennan County, TX could be facing a critical special election. With our current representative since 2005, Doc Anderson, stepping down early from his seat this week, the stakes have never been higher. This election will determine who represents District 56 in the Texas House and presents a unique opportunity to flip a seat in the narrowly-held Republican legislature.
This race isn’t just about filling a seat; it’s about ensuring that the people of McLennan County have a leader who will fight for public education, affordable healthcare, and the values we all share.
I’m committed to stepping up and serving our community with strong leadership and a fresh perspective. But I can’t do it alone. We’re still up against a well-funded opponent who doesn’t share our vision for public education, healthcare, and economic opportunity. Your support is essential to ensure we win this special election and protect the progress we’ve fought for.
Doc Anderson’s early retirement gives us a unique opportunity to hit the ground running, but only if we have the resources to win this special election. With your help, we can send a clear message that McLennan County deserves a representative who will fight for our future.
